Ryan Hughes has won his second WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8 or Better Event #47. With a total of 543 entrants creating a prize pool of over $700,000, Ryan Hughes takes with him £183,368 as a first place prize.

At the start of the day thirteen survivors from Day 2 returned to the table attempting to make the final table. The elimination of Margaret Macre in 10th place left the final nine players to fight it out for the WSOP title. Ryan Hughes held the chip lead ahead of Jonas Klausen as the final table began play.

First to be eliminated was David Sklansky, who was making his second final table of the week, losing out to Tim D’Alessandro’s triple aces. He was soon followed by Joshua Feldman who lost out to Jonas Klausen’s higher two pair. Klausen then saw off D’Alessandro with a higher full house, before he was himself eliminated by Ronald Long’s two pair of jacks and sixes.

With only four players left remaining Alessio Isaia fell to Ryan Hughes’ triple kings, and once Thomas Hunt was eliminated in 3rd place, it left heads-up play between chip leader Hughes and Long. Ryan Hughes held onto his lead all the way and knocked out Long with a full house of sevens and threes to win the title.

Final Standings:

Ryan Hughes - $183,368
Ronald Long - $113,240
Thomas Hunt - $68,686
Alessio Isaia - $50,122
Jonas Klausen - $39,355
Tim D’Alessandro - $30,444
Joshua Feldman - $23,019
David Sklansky - $19,306
