Playboy Series of Tournaments Set for November

The Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in West Virginia is currently preparing itself for the Playboy Series of Tournaments scheduled to take place later this year. Included in the events are the $165,000 Playboy Poker Open, and the $135,000 Playboy Series of Blackjack.
The buy-in for the Playboy Poker Open No Limit Texas hold’em main event is $550 based on a maximum entry of 330 players. Of the total expected prize pool, $52,000 will go to the winner, as well as a trip for two to a special VIP Party to be hosted at the Playboy Mansion on November 19th 2008.
The tournament takes place on November 9th. Players can participate by paying the buy-in or via daily and weekly satellites from September 3rd.
Taking place alongside the Playboy Poker Open main event is the $135,000 Playboy series of Blackjack with weekly qualifying tournaments beginning on September 3rd and daily cash prizes of $5,000 available.
The top 3 players from each daily tournament will be invited back to compete in the November 8th finale weekend event. Players can also participate with payment of the $550 buy-in. Top prize wins $25,000 cash and a trip for two to a VIP party at the Playboy Mansion.
