PokerRoom.com Offer Chance to Play Poker at the Races

PokerRoom.com has joined forces with the FIA World Touring Car Championships (WTCC) to offer poker players and racing enthusiasts the chance to win a seat at one of six poker matches to be played trackside at racing events around the world, and an opportunity to win $500,000.
The first ever PokerRace Trophy Series will give players an opportunity to play trackside at some of the most famous racetracks around the world. Online qualifiers to trackside events will receive full VIP treatment with exclusive access to behind-the-scenes action in the pits and premium seats for the races.
PokerRoom.com will be hosting several online freeroll tournaments with winners of online qualifiers to receive an all-expenses paid trip to a WTCC event and a seat at one of six live semi-final poker games held trackside in Brazil, Spain, Czech Republic, UK, Germany and Italy.
The winner of each semi-final event will go through to a televised final gala event to be held on November 29th 2008 in Vienna, with the six finalists competing for the $500,000 prize.
