Goalwin Set to Kick off on Ongame

The Ongame poker network is set to expand further as Goalwin.net prepares to launch its new online poker offering. Goalwin.net is the sister site of Goal.com, the world’s biggest football site with 8 million unique monthly users.
Goalwin.net and Goal.com are both owned by Ireland’s Goal Ventures Limited. According to independent web information company Alexa, Goal.com is ranked number 700 in the world in terms of traffic, serving fans in 13 languages and 16 editions.
With its ability to generate large volumes of traffic from an existing customer base, Goal Ventures’ decision to join Ongame will add even greater liquidity to an already thriving network.
And for Goal Ventures’ customers, it means access to more than 12 million poker players, the full range of all of the most popular poker game variations, and over $14 million in guaranteed tournament prize money each month.
The official launch of the site will take place just before the kick off of Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland on June 7th.
