The first of these events kicks off in the Philippines on May 27th 2008, running until June 1st, followed by events in Macau, South Korea and Singapore. Dates and venues for the last 3 events have yet to be announced.

Amongst the many participants in this year’s events will be a number of online players that will be able to compete via internet qualifiers, providing everybody with a chance to play alongside some of the biggest poker legends in the game.

The first event in Manila is expected to attract over 400 entrants for the tournament with a buy-in of $2,500. Winning one of the online satellites for the tournament will offer players an all-expenses paid trip to Manila as well as buy-in for the main event. Similar online satellites will run for the other three events, with a number of tournament packages available to online qualifiers.
