2008 WSOP $5,000 Mixed Hold’em (Limit/No Limit) Event 4 Day 2

Event four of the 2008 WSOP has set its final table with a host of poker professionals looking to seal their first victory in this year’s series in the $5,000 Mixed Hold’em (Limit/No Limit) event.
The 91 remaining players from Day 1’s total of 332 entrants returned to the tables with the money bubble occurring after 36th place. At the start of play Jon Turner had the chip lead with Ariel Schneller and Ron Kevin Haeri in close pursuit.
With plenty of action throughout the day, poker pro’s hustled and bustled each other for a shot at the final table. Those who would play no further part in this event however included Jimmy Fricke, Gavin Griffin, Patrick Antonius, Barry Schulman, J.C Alvarado, and Phil Laak.
Also out of the event were Robert Williamson, Andy Bloch, and Ron Kevin Haeri, leaving only nine left to play in tomorrow’s final. David Rheem will start the day with the chip lead but will be keeping his cards close to his chest with Howard Lederer, Roland de Wolfe, Erick Lindgren, and David Williams all in the mix as well.
