two players cash in the $1,500 NL Holdem Event
June 30th, 2008After most of the smoke settled over the chaos that is #49 both mansion.com player .theGatherer and chickhabit54 representing TowerGaming walked off with substantial checks.
.theGatherer added more than $10,000 to $2,500 he won in the first of the three events he won entry into by bagging a WSOP Side Events package on mansion.com.
Chickhabit54, who managed the same feat on Towergaming, also left his best performance for last and walked away with roughly $8,000.
Both players bested more than 2,000 players in what is one of the most crowded WSOP preliminary events in history.
