April 23rd, 2008Only minutes are left until Day 1A of the Swedish Poker Championship Main Event is ready to commence.
But even before the first had, the 2008 Swedish Poker Championship has made it’s way into the history books. A €550+50 five-card draw event was played on the 21st and 22nd of April; when the gunsmoke had cleared, Birgitta Johansson stood victorious as the first female Swedish Poker Champion ever! But that is not all, she is also one out of twelve players to survive day 1 of the €550+50 Omaha Rebuy event which will be played out later today. Well played!
