The inaugural Grand Tournament featuring heats is over!
October 1st, 2007After 8 hours of gruelling big-stack play, sirraffay playing out of Betsson took home the $81,000 first prize. Short-stacked going into the last four, Sirraffay used the great structure of the Grand Tournament to his advantage and climbed his way back.
All-in all, heats turned out to be a great addition to the Grand Tournament format and is destined to become a regular feature of this great event.
Stay tuned for the next Grand Tourmament played on 26th to 28th of October. The new Guaranteed Prize Pool amount is yet to be determined…
