I can almost smell the money…
October 30th, 2008Just a quick update from the felt folks.
Pantelis seems to have fallen on some cold cards, as his stack has shrunk to around about 45k. The blinds are now 1500/3000 ante 300. The average stack is 88.7k and there are 60 players left. Remember 56th places paid! So the Poker.gr player is amazingly close to the money and I’m amazingly close to a breakdown!
The blinds will be raised soon costing the players a huge 2000/4000 ante 400. That’s 9600 a lap!! As you can imagine, the players suffering from “short stack” ailment will have to create some magic to stay involved and make it through to Day 3 of the PokerStars.com EPT Budapest.
Nerves of steel are needed right now…and of course, a pretty decent hand would be too bad either!
